Our Journey Together
We met in 1978 at Catawba College — two young students with big dreams and bigger hearts. During long-distance summers, we wrote one another the “Letters of the Summer of ’79,” pouring our hopes, fears, and love onto paper. We’ve saved those letters for over 43 years.
We married in 1982 and built a life together — raising our children, navigating career changes, weathering storms, celebrating victories, and experiencing God’s grace in every season.
We’re not perfect — but we are committed.
We’ve learned how to grow, forgive, reconnect, and love each other with intention.
Our marriage has become our ministry.
Our story has become our assignment.
And our calling is simple:
