Welcome back, Marriage Investors! We’re nearing the final chapter in our 7-week journey to help couples build marriages that don’t just survive—but thrive for a lifetime.

So far, we’ve talked about unity, faith, emotional closeness, communication, and resilience. But today, we’re turning our attention to the foundation that holds everything together: covenant love and commitment.

This isn’t just another investment. This is the anchor.

Why Covenant Love Matters

In a world where feelings fluctuate and commitments are often temporary, covenant love stands out as sacred, strong, and non-negotiable. It reflects God’s unshakable commitment to us. Covenant love isn’t based on convenience—it’s rooted in promise.

When you said “I do,” you entered something far deeper than a contract. You stepped into a God-ordained covenant—a forever decision. Ecclesiastes 4:12 reminds us:

“A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.”

That third strand? God’s faithful presence in your relationship.

What Does Covenant Love Look Like?

  • It endures hard seasons without walking away.

  • It forgives deeply and refuses to hold grudges.

  • It puts God first, even when your emotions say otherwise.

  • It chooses to love daily, even when it doesn’t come easy.

When you live out covenant love, your marriage becomes a living witness to God’s faithfulness.

3 Ways to Invest in Covenant Love This Week

  1. Revisit Your Vows
Sit down together and read your wedding vows aloud. Reflect on what they meant then—and what they mean now.

  2. Honor Each Other with Words
Speak life into your spouse this week. Write a note, share a prayer, or express gratitude for their faithfulness.

  3. Renew Your Covenant Before God
Take 10 minutes to pray together and recommit your marriage to God. Ask Him to be the center and strength of your bond.

What the Book Says

In Chapter 7 of Forever Together, we walk through the biblical model of covenant marriage—how to endure in love, stay faithful in commitment, and reflect God’s heart even in the hardest seasons.

Final Thought

Covenant love doesn’t just say, I love you today. It says, I choose you. Always. Forever. No matter what.

That’s the heart of a Marriage Investor.

Until next week—stay faithful, stay focused, and stay forever together.
